A Resistance to Clarity

Andy Marlowe makes things talk. They are an interdisciplinary artist utilizing writing, drawing, and fiber techniques to create work that explores their relationship to the past. In their work, narratives are disrupted, sentences are abstracted, and words are consumed.

Their work has been shown at LeMoyne Arts, the Greenville Museum of Art, and the Dorothy Uber Bryan Gallery at Bowling Green State. Their work has also been featured in The Eyrie, the Kudzu Review, SIX magazine, and the Exposition Review.

They are pursuing their BFA in Studio Art and Creative Writing at Florida State University where they will graduate in 2024.
